Netville is now a Made for iPod licensee – begins iPod/iPhone/iPad accessory development

Netville has qualified as a Made for iPod licensee. To take advantage of the possibilities this offers, in-house development of iPod and iPhone related accessories has begun.

Using the in-house knowledge within Netville combined with the documentation the MFI license provides, all aspects of sophisticated hardware accessory development for the iPhone OS platform is starting up, ranging from PCB design through firmware development to iPhone application development.

New customer Trivendia

Netville will develop a web service for health, motivation et al for Trivendia Sweden AB, a company based in Stockholm. The service will also support access from mobile phones via browsers, as well as an iPhone application and a backend system for publishing material, including text, pictures and streamed videos.

Netville is developing applications for iPhone

“We’re pleased to be part of the development program for the iPhone. The first application to come out is Timi, pronounced “timmi” and is planned for launch in the fourth quarter of this year“, says Per Kristiansson, project manager.

Netville launches in-house hardware developing capabilities

Netville is happy to announce in-house hardware developing capabilities to our customers. A hardware laboratory has been established at the Netville premises in Lund to make this possible.

“This is in line with our strategy to support our customers with cutting-edge competence and technology within the embedded systems area”, says CEO Paul Rosengren.

Netville’s consultants has expertise competence and experience within embedded systems covering both software as well as hardware. The gathered total competence makes Netville very powerful, giving our customers the opportunity to out-source complete or parts of developing projects to Netville. In addition to our various in-house development projects within embedded software, we are now also proud to announce our capability to provide our customers in-house embedded hardware development.
